Not making enough profit? Here are three big reasons

"Competitive pressure" is the number one contractor profit-killer, our survey results tell us. 47% of contractors told us it was their biggest cause of insufficient profits. Actual building mistakes accounted for only 7%.

Our Canadian Contractor salary survey (check back at the bottom of our site for the DIGITAL EDITION version of it, tomorrow) asked a key question:

“If you are not making a sufficient profit, what do you think are the major reasons?”
