Rob Ford's ex-press secretary, George Christopolous, joins BILD

George Christopolous, who resigned as Toronto mayor Rob Ford’s press secretary last month, will join the executive team of the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) as vice president communications and media relations, starting July 2.

“George comes to BILD with strong media relations, strategic communications and management skills and experience,” said BILD president and CEO Bryan Tuckey.

“George will help BILD continue to build on our relationships and position ourselves as thought leaders, while enhancing the reputation of our members and the home building, land development and professional renovation industry across the GTA.”

Before working for Rob Ford, Christopolous had been with the communications team at the Toronto Police Service for nearly a decade. He started his career as a journalist and has been presented with a number of awards for his investigative work.
