The Cunningham report comes down pretty hard on Tarion for failing to disclose all builder screw-ups

Tarion, Ontario’s new home warranty program, designed to protect the public from builder deficiencies, is not doing a very good job.

This according to J. Douglas Cunningham, a former Ontario judge hired to write a report on Tarion.

    Permanent safety harness anchor installation should be mandatory on all roof renews and new home home and building construction. Painters often have nothing to hook onto and have to use a ridge anchor which is screwed into ridge of roof, requiring patching at end of use.
