... and we talk about our next issue - and "Job Site to Go": some really cool mobile software for renovators and builders

In probably the greatest three minutes of video in the history of Canadian Contractor (might not be true) Rob and Steve talk about our next issue, about how Bob Onyschuk – head of the enforcement at the Ontario College of Trades – cancelled our interview with him abruptly (never to be heard from again) – and about some cool new mobile software for contractors, developed in Charlottetown, PEI.

“Love you guys” Keep pushing the point with the college of trades. We, in Simcoe county are doing all we can to stop them too!

  2. Dean Kadikoff says:

    Hey there Rob and Steve.

So did you guys get any response to the questions posed to the OCOT as to the clarification of the “officers” duties and their actual lawful responsibilities or the tradesperson’s rights when it comes to the OCOT and the new Act 2009? Many have pressed for this clarification and so far none have been afforded any.

    Just wondering

  3. Questo says:

Thanks Rob and Steve, for trying to get these crooks for interview.

I just wonder why they decline your interview, its apparent this agency is illegal, was set up on the illegal bases, and unconstitutional manners, typical of the Liberals. We all trades people certified or not should take one day march at the queens park and demand these crooks out off business like so many others.

We trades people have nothing to lose but instead to gain, getting rid all the unnecessary read tape agencies, just to collect on our hard wages.

Its clear, if the OCOT was legal agency set up on the constitutional bases and with a great service to the trades people, they would not try to hide or decline
any interview asked by any form of media, but instead will attend and explain theirs great purpose. They have nothing to offer, its a parasitic tax collection, and employee the Liberal cronies.

I would like to have a face to face interview with the OCOT CEO, live, maybe you guys can arrange that, also giving the opportunity, to a large number of trades people to ask him all the questions and concerns about the trade issues.

TVO sometimes does that type of interviews, would be nice to get these crooks on front of TV cameras live.

I believe MPP Garfield Dunlop will love to be in this kind of interview.
