P.E.I. goes deck crazy, while New Brunswick is all about roofing: Home renovation trends by province

Wow, who knew? Canadians seem to have four different types of “top” home improvement project, depending on where they live in Canada. And not one of those project is kitchens.

According to trustedpros.ca, bathroom renos are number one in B.C. Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia.

Basement renos, on the other hand, are number one in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland.

New roofs are the top project in New Brunswick.

Decks are numero uno in P.E.I.
