National Tradesmen Day approaching fast

Sept. 21 will mark National Tradesmen Day in both Canada and the U.S.

The politically-correct term “tradespeople,” luckily, didn’t make the grade.

But whether a plumber or electrician is male or female, the fact remains that Canada will face a shortfall of 156,000 skilled construction workers in the next eight years, according to the Construction Sector Council.

For more information on the special day, please visit www.nationaltradesmenday.com or www.facebook.com/nationaltradesmenday.
