RONA selling Noble, Don Park and other HVAC supply houses

RONA is going back to its retail roots, getting out of the plumbing, heating and HVAC contractor supply businesses that is has accumulated since 2007.

It is selling its “Commercial and Professional Market” division (operating under the Noble, Don Park, MPH Supplies, Boutique Eaudace and Boutique Plomberie Décoration banners) to London, ON-based EMCO.

The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to net RONA some $215 million (after transaction expenses and fees).
