Think you are unaffected by the tax grab in Ontario? Not so fast.

A recent letter from a reader in Alberta made what we thought was an outrageous claim. He said that, though he has lived in Alberta for the past 22 years, the Ontario College of Trades is threatening to take away his livelihood if he doesn’t pay them. Watch the video here.

Just amazing, the poor guy!!! Why is it I can never think of ways to make money doing nothing like the government can.
While we do work in Ontario, as an electrical Contractor, we have to pay that plus, the renewal fee as an electrician. Then there is the masters licence renewal fee and contractors fee to ESA. Add on WSIB tax. Now, the next person to asks why the Electrical quote is higher is going to be soooo sorry!!!!
