Calgary’s Albi Homes wins Deloitte Best Managed Company award

Calgary-based luxury homebuilder Albi Homes has won a prestigious award for management excellence.
In winning one of Deloitte Canada’s 50 Best Managed Company Awards, Albi Homes caps a good year for public recognition. Apart from this honour, the company has had a string of awards recently, including being named the 2014 National Grand SAM Builder of Excellence, by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association.
The secret of Albi Homes’ success?
“Direction” and “focus” were both cited by the company’s president and managing partner, Allan Klassen, in accepting the Deloitte award two weeks ago at a black tie gala in Toronto.
Albi Homes currently has 72 full-time employees and about 150 subtrades and suppliers. The firm was founded by Tom Mauro in 1982. Read an excellent story on the company here in the Calgary Herald.
