CN Rail, DEWALT and Acklands Grainger team up to supply tools to Habitat for Humanity

We just received this press release that shows some terrific cooperation between different firms in donating essential power tools to Habitat for Humanity Canada.

Mississauga, Ontario March 2, 2015 – As of 2013 CN Rail has been a valued member of the DeWalt (Stanley Black & Decker) C.O.R.E. program. This loyalty program is aimed at providing its members with industry leading service and rewards, based upon supporting Stanley Black & Decker purchases via an authorized distributor.

In partnership with Acklands Grainger, supporting CN Rails national equipment requirements, CN Rail requested that any and all C.O.R.E rebates earned via DeWalt (Stanley Black & Decker) purchases, with Acklands Grainger be donated to Habitat for Humanity Canada in the form of DeWalt power tools.

Nick Lesey, System Manager at CN Rail, is pleased to announce that to date, its program rebates have provided Habitat for Humanity Canada, one of the country’s most recognized non-profit organizations, with over $27,000 worth of DEWALT tools to help build and improve communities across Canada.

The DEWALT C.O.R.E. program is an exclusive rewards and loyalty program for elite end-users in Canada. Participating companies such as CN Rail earn reward points on qualifying purchases at authorized distributors. Members are then able to redeem rewards points for various Stanley Black & Decker products, including but not limited to DEWALT Power Tools and Accessories. In addition to rewards members also receive special offers on new products, fast track service, and the opportunity to provide input on new product development. The DEWALT C.O.R.E program runs within a full calendar year and is offered to a select number of companies annually.
