CORRECTION: Classic Home Improvement serves Home Depot customers on Vancouver Island

In the September/October print version of Canadian Contractor, in our Installed Sales article by John Caulfield, we wrote that “Blue Ocean Construction, Coquitlam, BC… is now the exclusive installer of interior projects for all 43 of (Home) Depot’s stores in Western Canada.” (Page 28)

That sentence was incorrect. It should have omitted the “all.” There are actually 62 Home Depot stores in “Western Canada.” And so Blue Ocean serves a great many, but not all of the Home Depot stores in Western Canada.

On Vancouver Island, for example, the contractor currently holding the contract for Interior Renovations and Painting programs for Home Depot is Classic Home Improvements, Nanaimo, B.C., according to Darren Cavan, that firm’s operations manager.
