DeWalt surprises No Frills’ customers with random acts of kindness

A surprise visit by DeWalt employees at two Toronto-area No Frills store locations last week made the holiday season merrier for some lucky shoppers. To share the giving spirit of the holidays, each member of the DeWalt team randomly chose a customer in the checkout line and paid for their groceries. The selected customers also received a token gift from DeWalt along with a card suggesting that they too “Pay-It-Forward” by performing their own random acts of kindness over the next two weeks.

“Our employees have a long tradition of being involved in their communities, often through organizations that help to make the world a better place,” said Joe Di Ilio, President of Stanley Black + Decker Canada. “Pay-It-Forward Day is an example of Stanley Black + Decker and DeWalt employees wanting to give back to the community and help spread goodwill at this special time of the year.”
