How much are renovation workers making, south of the border?

Remodeling magazine – a U.S-based renovation contractor magazine that we respect greatly – has published a fascinating chart showing what renovation workers are making, state by state, south of the border.
While the salaries of the owners of renovation firms and the self-employed are not included, it does give an interesting glimpse into what employees are making down there.
They are making anywhere from an astronomical (we think) $58,230 average in the District of Columbia, to a pretty slim $19,316 in Montana.
The average USA “remodeler” (renovator, in Canadian-talk) wage for an employee? $34,046.
Or about $17 an hour for a 2,000-hour year. Click on the link above for more details.
