Canadian Contractor Business risk

"Even leeches know when to get off a sick and overburdened host. I can hardly wait to pack it in and retire."

Further to Robert Sloan’s comment about the cost of pulling electrical permits – and inspections.

Here’s one from “John Broke.” We don’t think that’s his real name, but we get his point…

“(Re: Illegal Electrician Jailed For 30 Days“)

I fully support the idea of a Safety Inspection process but feel that the permit fees have exceeded the threshold. They equate to roughly 12% of most quoted jobs. If I consider what I pay in permit fees per year it would cover the salary of one inspector. Where is all the money going? I didn’t realize that when I went into business there would be 4 partners. One that takes all the risk (me) and three that get a free ride (bank, government, and ESA). Even leeches know when to get off a sick and overburdened host. I can hardly wait to pack it in and retire. Then my three partners can get stuffed. One thumb down to Richard Hazel for cheating the system and two thumbs down for my three partners for creating the conditions that promote such activity. 30 days in jail with free room and board, and a fine that is less than he would have paid in taxes and permits. Way to go… beat him with a soft noodle.”

    Dear John broke,

I believe you have forget one off the partners, which is the OCOT, Ontario College of Thieves, now there are five. Apparently electrical business and compulsory electricians are under a tyrannical hostage system. Yes, we are under hostage, from all fronts, its a disgraceful mater, and its time for all of us compulsory electricians and electrical business to start do something about it. Real pros don’t need inspectors, they sign a responsibility terms and agreements of their final work.
Can ESA inspectors do their own houses electrical work repairs, or electrical addictions? if so lets see if they have any permits on that?
So let see if they have their OCOT insane licenses, also, hum.

This only shows how the political corrupted system we have in this Province of Ontario. Five insane collectors on the pore guy with the appetite to work, just cant be more absurd then that.

As the world economy get worse, will soon be in our shores, all these parasites will have to go.

The common laws will come in place, and there will be no place for the insane parasites. The duality of laws will have to end, the corrupted lobbying will be no more.

At this time politicians apparently aren’t responsible for their bad faith actions, but soon this will change, no free rights for them either, they became like a virus, and this virus need to be clean.
