Prefab wood panels for mid-rises gaining traction in B.C.

One firm, Pro-Fit Structures, Chilliwack, B.C. is reported to have had a 21 per cent increase in volume in the past year

Changes to the building codes in some areas of Canada are seeing mid-rise, multi-unit residences increasingly constructed of wood. And pre-fab wood panels, at that.

Chilliwack, B.C.-based Pro-Fit Structures told the Journal of Commerce, here, about its recent successes.
