A new association has been formed to represent the interests of small contractors in the province of Ontario: The Ontario Contractor and Small Business Association (OCSBA).

“We just wanted to spread the good news with you,” says Doug Leitch, in an email to Canadian Contractor from the OCSBA this morning. “We have started and registered an association that will be representing small contractors and business in the Province of Ontario for them to have a voice to represent them when decisions are being made that affect them. We also have launched a new website today which is still under construction but is live for viewing and new information/up dates will be posted as we have them available.”

The fledgling association has already met with Ontario’s conservative party leader Tim Hudak.

Visit their website at www.ocsba.ca.

Why doesn’t the ocsba link work? I would like more info on the ocot’s officers. We are starting a small body shop and now have to change 90% of what we were planning to satisfy these people including paying them a member fee basically so they can keep their jobs. What about paying me a membership fee if you want to enter my facility again? Bet that wouldn’t happen!!!
