With the next generation of Canadian homeowners – in major urban centres – threatened by the unaffordable prices of land-based homes, prefabricated, lower-cost structures have never been more newsworthy.

Canadian Contractor is interested in hearing from contractors and prefab home manufacturers with new ideas in this type of construction.

Here’s a great article from McGill University architecture professor Avi Friedman. The title, “Why is the Homebuilding Industry Stuck in the 1940s?” isn’t just an attention-getter. It’s a really interesting question.
