You need a budget, and we can help

Steve Barkhouse, President of Amsted Design/Build and the subject of our May/June, 2019 cover feature, says your contracting business won’t go far unless you understand where you are and where you want to go.

Understanding “where you are” is hard. It requires getting your financial house in order. You need a Profit and Loss (P&L) statement that is accurate and accessible. You need to tidy your books, control your costs and stay on top of your revenue numbers.

Understanding “where you want to go” is more fun, but harder to find time for. You are too busy with the day-to-day pressures of running business. We get that, and we’re here to help.

If you have never done a one-year budget for your company before, we have a starter-budget excel spreadsheet we will send you that can become your first ever one-year budget plan. We will even help you fill it out.
