TCBN Career Talks in Construction and trades online series is excited to be in conversation with Laura Cortez who is the Outreach and Social Media Coordinator for LiUNA Local 183 Training Centre. LIUNA Local 183 has grown to now represent more than 58,000 construction workers and their families in the Greater Toronto Area. Their members work in every aspect of the construction industry including; residential, sewer and watermain, road construction, bridge building, pipeline, railroads and utilities to name a few.

Laura will be speaking about training and career opportunities in LiUNA Local 183 Red Seal apprenticeships career pathways, namely Construction Craftworker, Brick and Stone Masonry and Cement Finishing.
