Footings done different

There is a lot going on in this photo essay of groundwork and footings prepared for a rammed earth project in Ontario. The images are located on the website of the manufacturer of the footings forms. You’ll see how its footings are installed, but also a bit of how the rammed earth walls are placed.

FabForm is the manufacturer of FastFoot, a footings system that reduces the amount of lumber needed to make the forms for a footing. The  footings material also controls ground moisture getting into a concrete pour.
