The Great Outdoors Issue is on its way

After what felt like and endless winter, here in Toronto we had a couple spring like days – with some cruel cold spells in between – then leapt straight into summer heat. Of course, for most contractors it doesn’t really matter what the weather is like outside. It’s busy season, regardless of the temperature.

That said, with clients focused on outdoor living projects, we’ve done the same in our June/July Great Outdoors issue. First up, freelancer Marylene Vestergom profiles Healey Deck and Fence in Bowmanville, Ont., the company that built the award-winning deck in MicroPro Sienna’s 2017 deck contest.

Then, long-time contributor Frank Condron takes an in-depth look at some of the many options for outdoor living products, including treated and composite wood, railing systems, modular components, water features, and more.

Plus, we poke a little fun at some faulty landscaping tools and outdoors products in our Recall Roundup section.
