The Great Outdoors Issue is on its way
Renovation ContractorAfter what felt like and endless winter, here in Toronto we had a couple spring like days – with some cruel cold spells in between – then leapt straight into summer heat. Of course, for most contractors it doesn’t really matter what the weather is like outside. It’s busy season, regardless of the temperature.
After what felt like and endless winter, here in Toronto we had a couple spring like days – with some cruel cold spells in between – then leapt straight into summer heat. Of course, for most contractors it doesn’t really matter what the weather is like outside. It’s busy season, regardless of the temperature.
That said, with clients focused on outdoor living projects, we’ve done the same in our June/July Great Outdoors issue. First up, freelancer Marylene Vestergom profiles Healey Deck and Fence in Bowmanville, Ont., the company that built the award-winning deck in MicroPro Sienna’s 2017 deck contest.
Then, long-time contributor Frank Condron takes an in-depth look at some of the many options for outdoor living products, including treated and composite wood, railing systems, modular components, water features, and more.
Plus, we poke a little fun at some faulty landscaping tools and outdoors products in our Recall Roundup section.
The issue should land in your mailbox in the next week or so. If you’re not getting a copy of the print issue, sign up for a free subscription here or read current and back issues online here.
As always, we love getting your feedback and ideas for future topics. Send your ideas to our managing editor, Allan Britnell.
