Grenfell Tower Fire

On June 24, 2017 a fire broke out in an apartment complex in London. It quick spread, via the building’s exterior, due to a highly combustible cladding material. Seventy-two people died before the flames were finally put out 24 hours later. Earlier this year the BBC compiled a timeline of how quickly the horrific fire spread.
