David Adams of Brampton, Ont., sent us a number of prize-worthy pictures from jobsites he’s collected over the years, including this overly complicated run of pipe for a sprinkler system, and a 2×4/drywall bridge used as a jobsite shortcut over a potentially lethal drop onto a metal railing below. But one in particular stood out for its simple stupidity. Some past contractor (or homeowner) was too lazy to clean up their trash and decided to leave a knife blade inside an electrical box for someone else to come along and potentially cut their fingers on down the road. As Adams so concisely puts it, “Not cool.”
