We actually don’t have a ton of “haters” of Mike Holmes on our site these days. All TV contractors come in for their fair share of criticism from “real” working contractors, if only because TV shows love villains – and there is no better villain than a fly-by-night, criminal operator. My cousin is one of Mike’s guys and has been for many years. And I’ll tell you one thing about Mike: he loves his family, he loves his friends and co-workers fiercely and he is one of, if not the best and most trustworthy contractors in Canada, if not the world. So to all the haters, give it a rest and stop trying to ruin a great man’s reputation because you have nothing better to do. He doesn’t deserve it.
