You have this backwards. Before you frame is the time to use sketch up and show where all of the studs and reinforcements and attachment points must be to suit code, the plumbing, electrical, drains, etc. It is not worth it any more to just fly blind and hope you have remembered everything. The photo is still a good idea to show “as built” matches “as planned.”
