“One hundred per cent effort or don’t bother!”

1. Give your clients, employees and yourself 100 per cent effort every day or don’t bother. No one deserves something half thought-out. Listen to complaints/suggestions.
2. Ensure you are continually training and educating yourself and your crew/design staff, etc., on new methods of installation, products and techniques. Ask yourself: ‘Is this the best we can do?’ and ‘Would I be happy if this was done in my house?’
3. Enjoy your work! And help your employees enjoy their work! Yes, there are some parts of the job you won’t like. But you need to be able to enjoy the process as well as the people you work with. This way, you will take more pride in what you do and you will produce a better product.
