More reaction to Steve Maxwell’s ‘Inner Life of a Contractor’

Kevin Marois asks: What is to stop any of us adopting the business principle that we can do whatever we can get away with?

If you haven’t yet read the first part of Steve Maxwell’s ‘Inner Life of a Contractor’ you can find it here.

Steve, I was quite surprised and pleased to read your article in the September issue of Canadian Contractor (“Inner Life of a Contractor: Are You Just Molecules or More?”).

If the universe is random and meaningless, there is so basis for right or wrong, beauty, or any kind of rules in our society. Business decisions could simply be made on the basis of what we can get away with.

Once we recognize there is a pattern to the Universe, we can stop fighting the system and move forward. We need to understand how we fit in the Grand Scheme of things.

I am anxiously awaiting your future articles.

Kevin Marois
