Social media contest recognizes “Hero Builders”

Tired of all the talk about contractors screwing up? Had enough of those “reality” TV shows where builders and tradespeople are portrayed as villains? Well, there’s a social media contest underway across Canada which aims to get more recognition for the good work that most contractors do.

It’s called Hero Builders and it’s being run by Hammerati.com, an online network which connects general contractors, subtrades and the public. The contest will allow contractors to post their best projects online and collect votes. For more information, visit www.hammerati.com/heroes <http://www.hammerati.com/heroes> .
