IKO ShieldBase 180 Specialty Cover Board is a composite of IKOThermTM CoverShieldTM polyiso insulation that is factory laminated to a 180-gram polyester reinforced SBS modified bitumen base sheet.

The dual selvage self-adhering edges of the product allow easy joining of the base to the adjacent ShieldBase 180 boards. This allows for a quick application of the roofing system’s base layer.

An excellent choice for recover applications, ShieldBase 180 reduces the dead weight load of the roofing system.
