Hard to find good young workers? Here’s who to blame!

John Bleasby wrote last week about the difficulty in finding young, new workers in our industry.

I don’t think it is just in the trades. When talking to others it often seems that people just out of high school or just out of collage/university don’t have much desire to work at all – unless then get outrageous salary and freedom to spend their day on social media. I believe this bad attitude starts early in school where no one fails, everyone gets a trophy and we don’t learn to accept failure. Then mom and dad will pay for the kids’ educations and living expenses. Rant over!
