Custom homebuilder finds Amazon’s prices cheaper than Home Depot’s

We asked for feedback from contractors buying online. Here is one from a custom homebuilder…

I never thought the online sales of tools would take off since people want to touch and try their tools first. But recently we made some purchases on Amazon for the only reason that the price was a lot lower then Home Depot. I think places like Home Depot will start seeing major competition from online retailers. It is sad in the sense that you try to support local stores to keep jobs, but the prices online can be so much lower.
