Press Release from DEWALT follows

Mississauga ON, December 12, 2018 To share the giving spirit of the holidays, today at 1 pm DEWALT employees visited David’s No Frills, 6435 Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga, to make the season merrier for some lucky shoppers. Each of the employees randomly chose a customer in the checkout line and paid for their groceries. The selected customers also received a token gift from DEWALT and a card asking them to pay it forward by performing their own random acts of kindness.

DEWALT employees not taking part in the event are also being encouraged to also pay it forward today, whether through simply smiling or offering kind words to someone, making a donation or paying for a meal for a stranger.

Joe Di Ilio, President of Stanley Black + Decker Canada, GTS Group, says, “Our employees have a long tradition of being involved in their communities, often through organizations that help to make the world a better place. Pay-It-Forward Day is one example of our commitment and our desire to help spread goodwill at this special time of the year.”
